Classes are offered all throughout the day with convenient times before work, during lunch, and after work hours. The workouts are challenging and rewarding as you continue to break past old barriers and limitations to achieve physicals feats that you never thought you could. A month of unlimited fitness classes costs only $50. In addition to the strength and conditioning classes, Revolution Gym offers personal training with the founder of the gym himself, John Brown . Brown owns and operates Revolution and is a certified trainer and professional athlete. The training sessions are offered for individuals or small groups of two to six members. Small groups costs about $20 per session (depending on number of members) and individual training costs $100 per session.

Fourth-, fifth-, and sixth-graders tackled these and other health-related questions, and learned some cool new dance moves, at a free fitness and health workshop offered by Jazzercise with Yhomi, a locally-owned group fitness program, recently. About a dozen girls from the Safe Youth Project -a program affiliated with Alternative House -participated in the event. Alternative House board member and local realtor Lisa Moffett teamed up with Yhomi Warshavsky, owner of Jazzercise with Yhomi, to bring students to the workshop. The girls learned how to make healthy eating choices and got tips for exercising safely.

IHG’s new EVEN fitness hotel brand hits the suburbs

This week, global hotel giant IHG signed deals to convert properties in Rockville, Md., and Norwalk, Conn., into EVEN Hotels. That brings the number of EVEN Hotels scheduled to be open by 2015 to four. IHG had previously announced two locations for EVEN Hotels in New York City, one in the Garment District and one near Grand Central Station. Those are slated to open in 2015, said Kirk Kinsell, president of the Americas for IHG.
